Carnival UK has revealed the new ‘Cunard and P&O Cruises Partnership Team’ at the 2016 Selling Cruise Conference in Southampton.
Alex White, UK vice-president of sales for the cruise company, said: “This is not just a rebranding exercise. This is a definitively new way of working with our travel agent partners. Travel agents remain responsible for a vast majority of our bookings so they are pivotal to our success. We deal with all sizes of agents, from large travel companies to small independent cruise specialists and it’s essential we find ways to engage, educate and inspire this community as a whole.”

Key focus areas include increased head office account management; supporting new and developing partners to grow their business through a new dedicated local regional support team; helping agents to understand and tell the brand’s stories to the right customers by transforming its approach to training - starting with a complete overhaul of its online learning platform; and offering agents more opportunities to experience the brand, with more ship visits and new educational cruises.
