Canadian Affair has launched a new Canadian Big 5 collection, with season-specific packages offering travellers the opportunity to spot bears, whales, moose, wolves and eagles in their natural habitats.
Example packages include a seven-day Pacific Rim Whales & Bears tour in British Columbia, which travels around Vancouver Island capturing glimpses of wild bears and whales and sailing on an ocean cruiser or Zodiac. Prices for the tour lead in at £1,065 per person, which includes six nights’ accommodation, transfers, whale- and bear-watching excursions and flights. The price is based on travel in May, June and October.
Alternatively, a three-night Grizzly Bears & Wildlife Watching tour at Knight Inlet Lodge in British Columbia visits the natural habitat of Canada’s grizzly bears in the wilderness of Campbell River, the ‘Salmon Capital of the World’. Travellers will take a floatplane ride to the remote lodge to spend two days exploring and bear-spotting with local experts. The tour leads in at £1,675 per person and includes three nights’ accommodation, full board meals from the second day, transfers, all excursions and flights, and is based on travel between June 25 and July 22.
