Budding Bear Grylls’ can learn useful new survival skills on their holiday this summer when they stay at a select number of Haven’s holiday parks.
Haven is offering its guests a free course on survival which includes shelter building, how to find and purify water and how to build and start a fire using a bow drill. The activities are led by Haven’s qualified park rangers and take place on eleven parks around the UK including Devon Cliffs in Exmouth where park ranger Brian O’Brien will also lead guests on guided nature walks taking in the Jurassic coast.
Water babies can enjoy Haven’s SplashZones, play in the sand or learn a new activity. The holiday parks also offer professional coaching sessions including golf, basketball, archery and fencing, plenty of indoor activities and entertainment from bowling, roller blading, FunWorks amusements plus much more.
Guests at Haven parks can spend time with Haven’s cast of mischief-making characters - Bradley, Rory, Anxious, Greedy, Polly and Ned – who are on hand to teach the kids about the local environment and all the fun that can be had at the seaside and the great outdoors, especially from Polly who is the expert when it comes to knowing about the local beaches and places to visit around the parks.
