Tigris rollercoaster Busch Gardens Tampa Bay

'Tigris' roars in to Bush Gardens for 2019

Busch Gardens Tampa Bay has announced it will be adding a triple-launch steel rollercoaster named 'Tigris' to the park for spring 2019.

Reputed to become Florida's tallest launch coaster with a 150-foot skyward surge and an inverted heartline roll at more than 60mph, Tigris will catapult riders along more than 1,800 feet of steel track, complete with an array of looping twists and breath-taking drops.

A second thrill ride will also be arriving to the Gwazi area of the park for 2020, inspired by the largest cat species: 'Panthera Tigris'.

Stewart Clark, president and general manager of the park, said: ?Tigris will be a strong addition to our family of world-class thrill rides. With three intensely exciting launch points, this ride is unlike anything we have in our coaster collection. This new attraction is a testament to our continued investment in the park, bringing new and innovative experiences to our guests.?
