Butlins has announced the arrival of Big Top Circus breaks at all three of its resorts throughout the school summer holidays this year.
Under the purpose built Big Top at each resort, guests will find trapeze artists, aerial gymnasts and clowns from professional circuses around the world.
Each resort will have a different theme with Minehead and Skegness welcoming the Russian Bolshoi State Circus in “Circus of the Czars” and Bognor Regis offering a Latin flavour in the form of South American sensation “Carnival Circus.”
Guests can choose to add circus tickets to their packages for £5 per person. All seats are pre-allocated and will be handed to guests on arrival in their welcome packs. Shows will take place three times, six days a week from Tuesday to Sunday.
A three-night Big Top break at Bognor Regis leads in at £107 per person arriving on July 26, based on two adults and two children sharing a Silver self-catering apartment.
Meanwhile, the Skegness resort is set to add a new event, The Bootleg Ball, to its line-up of Live Music Weekends from March 15-18. Headlining the weekend are tributes to U2, Kings of Leon, Bon Jovi, ACDC and Blondie, as well as covers of Stereophonics, Blur, The Rolling Stones, The Specials, Queen, The Beatles, Take That, T-Rex, Oasis, Simply Red, Phil Collins, Earth, Wind and Fire and Duran Duran.
Prices for the three-night break start from £78 per person based on four people (over 18s only) sharing a Silver self-catering apartment for a March 15 arrival. It includes entrance to all tribute performances and access to the resort’s bars and restaurants.
