Balkan Holidays has introduced an accommodation-only option to its 2010 summer programme, with prices leading in from £5.40 per person per night at the two-star Hotel Hawaii in Nessebar, Bulgaria.

The operator says that the new addition opens up more possibilities for budget-conscious customers, who are looking for a more flexible approach when planning their holiday.

The company’s sales and marketing manager, Rupert Diggins, said: “It's perfect for holidaymakers who want to have more control over their holiday budget and mix and match their accommodation - enabling them to combine a few nights in five-star luxury with a few nights in more modest surroundings.

Plus, holidaymakers can plan for a multi-centre holiday, by choosing to spend a few nights in different resorts - so they may choose to live it up in the more lively Sunny Beach resort for a few nights, followed by a couple of nights in the quieter UNESCO-protected fishing town of Nessebur, with its cobbled streets, traditional architecture and fine fish restaurants.”
