British Airways has announced an increase in their weekly flight schedule from Heathrow to Philadelphia in spring 2018, growing the service from seven flights to ten flights per week and allowing passengers more opportunities to visit America’s first World Heritage City.

From April next year the airline will operate an additional flight on Monday, Friday and Sunday, departing at 17:00 and arriving in Philadelphia at 19:55 local time, with the return journey to London departing from Philadelphia at 22:00 and arriving in London at 10:15 the next morning.

The flight will operate on the carrier's newest aircraft, the Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner, offering passengers the choice of World Traveller, World Traveller Plus and Club World cabins.

Visitors can take advantage of Philadelphia’s tax-free shopping within the city’s prime shopping district Rittenhouse Row, and new for spring 2018, the Fashion District of Philadelphia will offer more than 730,000 sq.ft of retail, dining and entertainment space.
