AVIAREPS and Afriqiyah (Libya) have signed a GSA agreement for the South African market.

With immediate effect, the international representation company will handle all sales, marketing and ticketing activities for the Libyan carrier out of its subsidiary in Johannesburg.

Afriqiyah Airways will introduce a connection from Tripoli (Libya) to Johannesburg (South Africa) on 18 September 2009.

Afriqiyah Airways’ first flight out of Libya to the South African city will take off from Tripoli International Airport. From then on, the carrier will offer a connection from Johannesburg to Libya two times a week – every Tuesday and Saturday.
