Air Transat is launching several new services for UK travellers looking to discover more of Canada this summer.

The airline will unlock more of the province of Quebec with a connecting flight from Gatwick to Quebec City via Montreal.

Services will depart every Sunday, returning on Monday from June 26 to October 23, with return fares starting from £429 per person return. Greater choice is also being offered to Scottish passengers, with two additional weekly services to Vancouver from Glasgow.

In addition to the existing weekly direct service which operates throughout the summer on Wednesdays, customers can now fly from Glasgow to Vancouver via Toronto on Thursdays and Saturdays, returning on Wednesdays and Fridays between June 23 and October 29, which is in addition to a new direct route from Glasgow to Montreal for this summer season.

The carrier operates direct flights year-round from Gatwick, Manchester and Glasgow to Toronto and from Gatwick to Vancouver.

From May to October the airline also operates flights from Birmingham to Toronto, Glasgow to Vancouver and Montreal, Manchester to Vancouver and Calgary, and Gatwick to Calgary, Montreal and Quebec City.

Passengers booking a connecting flight in conjunction with a transatlantic flight will receive a 23kg luggage allowance based on the transatlantic flight segment, allowing passengers to transfer fuss-free between connecting flights.
