Advantage announces annual awards

Advantage presented ten awards at its annual conference recently to recognise the achievements of both members and business partners.

The Best Business Travel Member award, as voted for by the consortium's preferred suppliers, was made to Buckinghamshire-based Giles Travel, with Scotland?s Barrhead Travel being named Best Leisure Travel Member.

 

Amongst leisure travel partners the Best Overall Leisure Company award went to Thomas Cook; Superbreak won the award for Best Agent Friendly Leisure Travel Company, and Danny Joel of Cadogan Holidays was voted Best Company Representative Leisure. For business travel partners Emirates picked up the award for the Best Business Travel Company; the Best TMC Friendly Travel Company was Lufthansa Group, and Darren Gilbert, Virgin Atlantic was named Best Company Representative Business Travel. Finally, Jetset?s website was judged to be the Best Trade Bookable Website Leisure and Travelport collected the Best Business Travel Technology Provider award.
