The 2012 ACE Cruise Convention is being relaunched with a new look to provide more concentrated and focussed events for delegates.

Key changes for next year include the staging of two separate events – a Selling Cruise Conference designed specifically for front line sales staff in May and Columbus Day for senior travel executives in September.

The Selling Cruise Conference will be held on May 1 and 2 in Southampton and the first day will provide targeted content for delegates to use once they return to their shops, offices and call centres. There will also be a trade fair and opportunities for networking. On the second day, delegates can visit up to four cruise ships docked in Southampton - Cunard’s Queen Elizabeth, P&O Cruises’ Adonia, Princess Cruises’ Grand Princess and Royal Caribbean International’s Independence of the Seas.

Columbus Day will be staged in Birmingham on September 20 and will feature business seminars, debates with keynote speakers, networking opportunities together with a Gala Awards Dinner to recognise the contributions made by individuals within the cruise sector.

Registration for the convention opens on December 15.  For details visit
