Second traveller pays half price from £349
Agents can now book their clients a seven night Nile cruise with Discover Egypt this month and the second traveller will travel for half price.
This deal must be booked by August 31 and is valid on Nile cruises on selected dates between October 2011 and October 2012, including some Easter dates next year.
Prices start at £699 per person, with the second traveller from £349. This includes travel on the 5-star Viking Princess from Luxor to Aswan on a full board basis, return flights from Gatwick and transfers in resort, plus 10 guided excursions.
Alternatively, the 5-star deluxe Royal Viking is from £899 per person, with the second traveller from £449 or the 5-star luxury boutique Alexander the Great, renowned for being one of the most luxurious vessels sailing the Nile is from £1,399 per person and £699 for the second traveller.
The 10 excursions en route are all with a qualified Egyptologist who will help travellers make the most out of visiting world famous ancient sites such as the Valley of the Kings and Valley of the Queens, including the Temple of Hatshepsut, the Temples of Karnak and Luxor and the Temple of Horus, as well as well as the city of Aswan and the Aswan Dam. Guests will also get the chance to go on a Felucca, the traditional sail boats of the Nile, dress up in typical Egyptian costumes at the Galabeya party, try bartering in the markets of Luxor, plus take optional excursions such as a hot air balloon ride, a trip to Abu Simbel and camel rides.
