2018 brochure launch from Emerald Waterways

Emerald Waterways has released its 2018 European River Cruises brochure, which showcases a collection of itineraries that sail through Central Europe, France and Portugal.

The line's global brand curator, David Winterton, said: ?Our fleet of revolutionary Star-Ships is now one of the youngest on Europe?s waterways, with three innovative new Star-Ships launched this year, offering our guest modern luxury at an affordable price. Plus, we?re excited to continue our journey in 2018 with the addition of three new eight-day itineraries, sailing in Europe.?

The company's popular Danube, Main and Moselle river cruises will be accompanied by the launch of two new itineraries on the Rhine and a new sailing through Holland and Belgium, all of which feature in the new brochure.

The eight-day Charms of Holland and Belgium explores the destinations' past and present and guests can peruse museums and historically relevant landmarks, ending their trip walking the streets of Edam, famed for its delicious cheese.

Alternatively, the eight-day The Classic Rhine starts in the Dutch capital and allows guests to enjoy guided bike tours and museum visits, before sailing the beauty of the Rhine towards Germany.

And finally the eight-day The Majestic Rhine journeys through Germany and includes a visit to Ru?desheim to see Seigfried?s Mechanical Musical Instrument Museum. Other experiences include an exploration of the picturesque spa town of Baden-Baden in the southwest of the Black Forest and visits to Strasbourg and Colmar.

To celebrate the launch of the new collection, guests booking a 2018 river cruise by July 31 will receive a free premium drinks package, entitling them to unlimited drinks on board.

Prices start from ?1,170 per person, with a saving of up to ?1,250 per couple, based on the eight-day Danube Delights itinerary from Nuremberg to Budapest.
