Shearings Holidays has launched its 2018/19 Grand Tourer brochure featuring a collection of unique curated tours for agents to promote to customers looking for premium escorted touring product.

Bringing all the products together in one brochure from across the UK and Europe, the brochure features 21 new tours from a total of 41 – 15 in the UK, 23 in Europe and three river cruise tours.

New highlights include a Land’s End to John O’Groats tour, a Greek island hopping itinerary and a tour that explores Norway’s remote beauty. Grand Tourer itineraries offer a range of benefits - from an included home connect service and a dedicated tour manager or expert local guides, to privileged access to attractions before they open to the public or unique experiences such as drinking Champagne at the top of the Montparnasse Tower in Paris.

Jane Atkins, the operator's managing director, said: “This brochure represents our signature tours. We have produced a stand-alone Grand Tourer brochure this year after feedback from agents and in the knowledge that this is a fast growing market. They told us they wanted a dedicated premium brochure that was rackable – so we have listened. This brochure helps make the difficult easy – each tour includes at least one element that goes above and beyond and something that really is hard to book or source separately.”

As an example of new tours, a 15-day Land’s End to John O’Groats option leads in at £1,029 per person and travels the length of Great Britain by coach. The traditional distance by road is 874 miles, and this tour is a more relaxing way to make the journey than the typical cycling routes. Highlights include visiting Land’s End, touring the Cotswolds and visiting Edinburgh. Tours depart in June, August and September this year and next.

A Delights of Turkey & Greek Island Cruise costs from £1,209 and discovers the historic capitals and hidden gems of Turkey and Greece, as well as the Aegean Sea. Guests will enjoy three nights' all-inclusive cruising on MS Celestyal Oympia, calling at Patmos, Crete, Mykonos and Santorini, before exploring the ancient cities of Athens and Istanbul, along with the sites of Pamukkale and Cappadocia. Departures are between June and October this year and March through to October next year.
