The English cricket team will play in Antigua VS West Indies from January 31st to February 4th 2019. Be sure to look out for tour packages from your tour operators to book early as cricket in Antigua is so much fun that people book well in advance.
Hotel updates
South Point, Barbuda Belle, Ocean Point and the Antigua Yacht Club Marina Resort have been well received by the UK travel industry, with more trade friendly tour operators selling them.
Elegant Hotels has announced that they will manage Hodges Bay which will open end 2018. This will be a great addition to our accommodation sector.
Verandah Resort & Spa, Tamarind Hills and Nonsuch Bay are adding rooms in 2018, plus many other hotels are making improvements to their existing product. The industry is investing for growth.

Antigua’s best known and longest running event is our Sunday Barbecue party at Shirley’s Heights . Now in its 31st year, we have hosted more than 1,560 of them. Ask any of our bartenders, whether the party happens every Sunday, and the reply will be, " Yes...like church!"
