AmaWaterways has re-launched its trade facing loyalty scheme which rewards travel agents and homeworkers for every booking they make.
The scheme which started on September 1 runs for 12 months and offers ten prizes with a bottle of champagne for one booking, a FitBit for four bookings, a £100 shopping voucher for six, a luggage set for eight bookings and for ten bookings a top prize of a cabin for two on one of the line’s European river cruise ships.
Stuart Perl, managing director for the cruise company, said: “The feedback that we received from agents last year was fantastic. They all loved the scheme and because the rewards were so desirable and achievable it motivated agents to continue booking with us. It was encouraging to see so many agents claim the top reward and the more travel agents we can have experience one of our magnificent river cruise ships the better.”
A loyalty card will be provided to log booking reference numbers. Each booking made gets the participant to the next reward level. For example, an agent may want to cash in after one booking in exchange for a bottle of champagne, or wait until the sixth booking, which can be traded for a £100 shopping voucher. Following each cash-in, they start again at the basic level and there is no limit to the number of prizes that can be claimed.
